All miter saws need their own table. It needs a sturdy foundation to keep it in place while it does its job! Here’s a quick process that will help you get to build your very own customized wooden miter saw table!
THE TOOLS AND MATERIALS YOU WILL BE NEEDING
Preparation and planning are our first steps! So before getting to the construction part lets first have a checklist of the things we’ll need:
Your Miter saw, (obviously), a drill to create holes for screws and the like. Any saw (circular saw or table saw recommended) for cutting and measuring tools to mark what needs to be cut. You’ll need a Countersink bit and Kreg jig for the screws and some clamps.
Pine plywood (or any plywood you prefer to make a sturdy table)
Screws (Both Kreg and drywall screws)

MEASURING AND CUTTING
Now, using your measuring tools, take out your miter saw and measure both its length and width.
With the measurements mark your plywood and cut it (with your table or circular saw) just the right length and width (make it 1 inch larger than your measurements to allow ample space for screws) for the base and fence of the saw.
Next, is measuring the spacers to match the height of your saw. Again make sure it is slightly larger than your measurements when cutting to allow room. Then cut some plywood off for the top of your spacers.
SCREWING AND PUTTING IT TOGETHER
Once every spacer and part are carefully measured and cut, it’s time to put it together!
Use your Kreg jig and drill to add the holes for the screws to attach your spacers to the base of the table. Drill in the screws and make sure they keep the parts intact. Use your countersink bit for the top.
You can then mount your Miter saw on and secure it with the spacers. Use clamps for added support when putting everything together.
